Sisters Hope has been selected for the ASSITEJ Artistic Gathering in Beijing this year which explores the theme of Towards the Unknown: Imagining the Future. It takes place between 17-24 August 2018. We will present our work, including our concept Sensuous Learning and the Sisters method.

Sisters Hope will present at the Art of Management and Organization Conference to be held at the University of Brighton from 30th August – 2nd September 2018. The AoMO2018 programme offers a range of perspectives on this year’s theme of ’Performance’ from a diverse range of practitioners, artistics and academics.

Sisters Hope will speak at Communicating the Museum Brussels. The conference consists of an over five-day programme of talks, debates and workshops in the spring of 2018.

We will present our work and perspectives on sensuous learning and furthermore facilitate the Poetic Self exercise for DUFs work group.

We will take part in an artist talk at Kunsthal Aarhus in February. The event is a collaboration between Kunsthal Aarhus, Det Jyske Kunstakademi and Århus Kunstakademi.

Sisters Hope will manifest an exclusive piece at Thorvaldsens Museum as part of KBH læser. Furthermore, we have been interviewed for their paper. Read the interview here. Also see the full paper here.

We will be teaching our sensuous methods at Ryslinge Højskole this spring.

We will be presenting our work, sensuous and arts-based methods and our take on sensuous learning at sensuous-learning-symposium, Liverpool, UK.

Sisters Hope will workshop at VKR – Vardes kulturelle rygsæk – in the spring of 2018. VKR is an initiative for children and adolescence between the age of 5 and 16, and the intention is to introduce them to different artistic and cultural genres.

Sisters Hope will be teaching at University of Stavanger, Norway in the spring of 2018. Excited to teach and share our sensuous, performative methods.
