Arriving into summer

the smell of the linden trees, the generosity of gentle summer breeze, the long, bright evenings. all of it calling out to me, pulling me towards the stream of life.

all wants to live, taste, and sense. all wants to be lived and tasted and sensed.

 

and yet, my heart feels joy and melts softly at the thought of finding shelter in the vibrant darkness of Home.

my fast-beating, pulsating heart will begin to find other shapes and rhythms, inspired by the softness of the rooms.
