hunter’s blood

when the decision made itself in me I was clouded with a sense of calm

returning

nourishing

nurturing the poetic

I fear I have feared it

what if the instability came from that

from the sporadic spontaneity

now

in this garden

stability surrounds me as the trees change daily

the light peeks through and everything feels different

the city is so noisy now

can we find the peace we need there?

do we need it, peace or stimulation

the white light calls me

will I find the black whole I felt in me

I am introducing blood

barely hidden under my ribs

my breath
